Have you ever visited Pool Bridge Farm near York? It’s a little wild swimming haven – four lakes, each with its own feel and personality. Horseshoe Lake is one of the most peaceful of them all, framed by soft reeds and willow trees, with that calm hush you get just before you wade in.
This illustration captures the feeling of instant peace when stepping down into cool water, and the stillness that follows – the moment you realise you’re exactly where you’re meant to be.
Printed in my studio on beautiful fine art paper, milled here in the UK, using long-lasting archival inks, this signed giclée print is made to order and carefully finished before it leaves my hands.
