Original miniature painting. Midwinter Swim, by Andrea Hall

This beautiful miniature painting of winter swimmers in the snow, is created in watercolour and gouache paints with tiny brushes in stunning blue pigments and a touch of iridescence to make it shimmer. The pictures do not do it justice.

The painting is just 10cms square, the image area is approx 17cms square and framed it is approx 27cms square.

The painting is exquisitely float mounted onto a complementary watercolour background with a tiny subtle sequin applied and is presented in a unique matching hand-painted and rubbed moulding. A complete jewel.

Not only does ducky feature in the painting (of course), but he's also a tiny feature on the frame.
