Blue Tit with Blossom – Original Miniature Painting
Blue Tit with Blossom is an original miniature painting, created by hand on a natural wood slice and inspired by the colour and tiny moments of life found in the garden.
A little blue tit perches amongst a tangle of branches and soft pink blossom, surrounded by fresh spring greens. Painted at just 80mm diameter, the piece is full of tiny details that invite you to look a little closer.
The natural bark of the wood has been left visible, the painting is varnished to protect it and the whole thing is finished with a hand-shaped copper wire hanger so the painting can be displayed on a wall.
Blue Tit with Blossom was originally created and submitted for the 2026 Royal Miniature Society exhibition. Although it wasn't selected for the final exhibition, I'm rather pleased to have the opportunity to offer this little original directly from my studio instead.
It comes beautifully presented in its own gift box, nestled against a black insert, making it a special little treasure to keep or give.
