The sky begins to glow as the sun drops, casting warm orange colours across the water. A group of swimmers enter the sea, held between the glow above and the gentle movement below.

There’s a sense of ease here – the day winding down, conversations carrying across the water, and that feeling of being so lucky to be there at that moment.

Painted from those sea swims where time stretches a little and the horizon seems to go on forever.

Hand-painted in acrylic gouache on a small 4" wooden panel and finished with a high gloss varnish, this is a one-of-a-kind original.
