Nature’s Coat Hooks #8

Painted on a natural slice of wood and finished with bark intact, this one-of-a-kind piece is part of my Nature’s Coat Hooks series – little hand-painted scenes created on nature’s own ready-made canvases.

This design captures a crisp winter skate – a lone skater gliding across frozen blue as snow dusts the trees along the shore. It’s one of those moments that feels like pure release: cold cheeks, bright air, and that wonderful hush that only winter brings. It’s a tiny story on a tiny stage, full of vibrant colour.

Each log slice is drilled and strung with a little Ducky charm, ready to hang.

Because this is real wood, every piece has its own character: grain patterns, knots, bark texture and little natural quirks that make it even more special. No two will ever be the same. An affordable way to own a small piece of original, hand-painted art.
