A few years ago I was involved in some work that I remain really proud of. I had the privilege of working for the Press Association on some very famous consumer magazine titles such as Hello, Woman’s Own, Woman, and Woman’s Weekly. In 2008 I produced the whole of the Woman’s Own Summer Special from cover to cover, as well as working on the Woman’s Weekly Christmas Special and many others.
The work was very high-pressure to very tight deadlines and involved a lot of the editing skills I had learned as a designer working in the news industry prior to being self-employed.
It’s very satisfying to see your byline on the shelves in supermarkets and newsagents.
